Our commitment

Everyone should be able to read this site, find what they need and contact us, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA on every page, and we fix problems as soon as we learn about them.

How we check this site

We test it the way we test clients' products, as described in How we test: by hand, against every WCAG 2.2 AA criterion, with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack, the keyboard, voice control, zoom to 400% and high contrast themes. Automated checks also run every time the site changes.

We do a full review before launch and at least once a year, and we test each new page before it goes live.

What we built in

  • A skip link and the same navigation on every page, with no hidden menu
  • A visible focus indicator on everything you can tab to
  • Targets at least 44 by 44 pixels
  • Text you can zoom to 400% without sideways scrolling
  • Animation only when your device allows motion
  • A contact form with labels, clear errors and no CAPTCHA or time limit
  • Sample reports as tagged PDF/UA files, each with an HTML version

Supported browsers and assistive technology

The site is tested with the current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, with NVDA and JAWS on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iPhone, and TalkBack on Android. It may work with others, but we haven't tested them.
